Have you ever wondered why the 𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙨𝙤 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩.?

Have you notice, that on Facebook, everyone is flexing and enjoying?

Or have you discovered that on Instagram, everyone is beautiful, without spots

Everyone has the best of shape

On WhatsApp, everyone is laughing, at one funny video or the other

On social media, every thing is just perfect, smiling faces, shinny clothes  and shoes, cute pictures

Wonderful success stories and so on

And that's what we see everyday.

But let me ask you,

is this how life really is?

𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚.

Where are the struggles, the pain, the disappointments,

Where are all the unhappy moments and failures

The sleepless nights, the stress in personal development.

WHERE DID THEY ALL GO TO?

I don't know whether you have taught of this before.

This is to tell you that social media has a one sided face.

So it shouldn't be a yard stick of jugdment for our real lives.

Because no matter how satisfied some is the person still have a problem.

But why is it that way, come along let me tell you a little story WHY

It should be that way!

Let work down the memory lane 

Of the Bible days, in the time of job.

The Bible recorded Job apart from his uprightness towards God

He was the “greatest of all men of the east"

So let's bring Job to the year 2020, 

He will be tagged as an "influencer" right.

That will have thousands of followers.

Imagine Job taking a selfie with all his children when they were having a feast.

And posted it on Facebook 

Between 30mins, he will be having like, 6k likes, 1k comment, and 700 shares.

Wonderful!

Then he comes again the next day.

And posted he has lost all his children and wealth and mentions all the calamity that has fallen on him

And his wife is telling him to curse God

So what do you think will happen 🤔

You will be seeing comment like

Everything get en time oo, your time don pass

Life no get balance sha.

Curse God abeg

En better make person die, than to suffer this kind suffer.

Mad oo

Your village people don remember you.

Who God help

And so on

In addition to the fact that his enemies will rejoice over him

Or do you think he didn't have enemies when he was that blessed by God

Of course he did.

And they will make a great jest of him and his God.

Though they might be some good messages, but they will be few.

All these messages he will get will add to the density of his pain

But Job was 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.

But God and his three friends.

His grief was so great that even his friends sat down looking at him 

For seven days and nights with speaking a word to him

But they stayed and talked to him

And almost all the book of Job was Job praising and talking to God

And his friends of his grief not The Whole Nation.

And that's it

The world is not your friend!

Neither do the people on social media care about you.

So why tell them your problems

For example people post stuffs like

I married last year I and my husband has been having problems because of__________________

Should I sign up for a divorce or not?

Who exactly are you asking, 

The social media?

Or your enemies that didn't even want you to marry in the frist place.

The will surely tell you divorce 

Imagine job posting on the social media, should I curse God and die? 

Yes/no.

Majority will say yes

Hello! you reading this post!

I understand that life can get so difficult at times

But no matter how hard it becomes

don't come to announce it on the socialmedia

Not every body likes you and wishes you well

Both your friends and enemies are here

So follow Job's style

Of course you have one or two sincere friends

When things go wrong, summon them and seek advice 

Or even your family or any trusted person

Above all there is an unlimited access to God.

So you can reach him anytime

PRAY TO HIM!

He has ears he will answer.

When things have finally gone right you can now tell us the story 

So that we can join you praise God 

I understand that sometimes your personal life gets so tiring 

that you feel like just shouting out your problems to the world

Wait!

Please don't, Go to God and seek good counsel from trusted people.

Not every one on social media wishes you well!

That's why it looks like those influencers don't have any problems

Because they don't post it, when it’s happening

They seek accurate help

And later they tell you the story, looking so good.

So that's it, you need to be more real to yourself.

Trust you got the 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔.
