GONE

When you are gone

They will read and say she tried to tell us

It will be late, you’re not there to receive their care

They don’t know the impact of their actions on you

To them it’s protection but it’s exploiting your mindset.

When you are gone

They will blame you for lack of communication 

But you are not there to be scolded as always

You will be free from them and it will be their loss

Those who felt they knew you will wish they listened to you.

When you are gone

They will say “Everyone has their own way of escape”

Recalling events and your reactions to some things

But even that won’t be enough to answer their questions 

It’ll spike their interest to know more, you’re not there to answer.

When you are gone 

They will remember you and miss you, wish you were there 

And all the happy memories you created with them

They will cry the way you did cry many times for them too

But then you will be forgotten when you are gone a story to tell someday .
